Hey Loves! Y’all already know I am a bookworm. Normally, I put out a book list full of books I plan to read the upcoming year. The pandemic, of course, threw me for a loop, but I am back on it. I am publishing this list ahead of time so that if you plan on joining me in reading, you have plenty of time to get your books.
I won’t lie, this reading list is highly personal to me. Like, it just hits different for me. I’m not trying to learn anything about business, or living my best life. Nor am I diving into books that will help me escape life into the fictional life of others. Instead, I chose twelve books that I believe will help feed my soul in some way. Whether it’s helping me heal, or reaffirming ways to take care of myself, or even just helping me further love who I am in this season, it’s all about self this upcoming year, and learning from others.
Every month, I will focus on a new book. I honestly cannot wait to start reading, and I look forward to sharing my insight with you all. So here it is:
- Will – Will Smith (If you know me, you know how much I LOVE this man!! How could I not read his book?)
- A Gentle Reminder – Bianca Sparacino
- The Mountain Is You – Brianna Wiest
- All That You Deserve – Jacqueline Whitney
- Untamed – Glennon Doyle
- Set Boundaries, Find Peace – Nedra Glover Tawwab
- The Strength In Our Scares – Bianca Sparacino
- Daring To Take Up Space – Daniell Koepke
- Everything You’ll Ever Need You Can Find In Yourself – Charlotte Freeman
- 101 Essays That Will Change The Way You Think – Brianna Wiest
- How To Laugh In Ironic Amusement During Your Existential Crisis – James McCrae
- Crazy Faith – Michael Todd
I haven’t finalized the order in which I will be reading the books. Once I do, I plan to post it so that those who wish to can read along with me. Like I said, I intend to share my insights along the way with you. I fully expect there will be plenty of other books I read in-between, but these are my must reads for 2022. Happy reading, loves!
